Growl doesn't improve, but - thanks to the way he's built - doesn't get any worse, either.

As he lay there inert, the usual glow from Growl's eyes remains dimmed.

[sblock=Mechanics]Blindness Save - Save vs Blindness (1d20=7)

Fail.

Yeah, Warforged Resiliance is a NICE feature. Especially when one runs out away from the rest of the party. :)[/sblock]

Alek stares in surprise as the swarm charges him. Regaining his composure he throws a spear of energy at the swarm and moves backward hopefully hindering them further.

[sblock=Ghdeh1]If you move without shifting (ie move more than one square) the swarm will take an opportunity attack against you. If you don't mind taking the opportunity attack anyway, you should strongly consider attacking first and then moving so that you can get your Prime Shot bonus. You never know when +1 to hit will make the difference. Want to reorder your actions?[/sblock]

[sblock=Actions] Alright then Dire radiance first and then the move action since it basically does the same thing only the 13 becomes a 14 vs Fortitude I just want to keep the swarm in on place or hurt enough for it to kneel over and die[/sblock]

Alek's attack hits the writhing mass of centipedes, but they seem to avoid the worst of it.

As Alek and Feyr withdraw, the swarm practically erupts in a frenzy of mandibles, biting and poisoning both combatants. ooc: Technically, Alek's attack provokes the AoO, but this sounds better from a narrative perspective.

Feyr's attack goes wide.

The swarm seethes in place, a churning mass of skittering legs.

[sblock=Status]Initiative:
25: Goblin Sharpshooter (-35, dead)
20: Adran (13/28, bloodied, Blighted, blinded (save ends))
19: Goblin Hexer (-9, Divine Challenged)
18: Alek (14/30, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison, weakened (save ends))
17: Feyr (4/26, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison)
16: Blighted Rat (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 1 (-44, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 2 (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 3 (-2, Cursed)
4: Growl (-3/30, dying (0/3), blinded (save ends)) <== Your turn.
3: Lephisto (9/27, bloodied)

Both Alek and Feyr take 3 damage for starting adjacent to the swarm. Swarm 3 takes Attacks of Opportunities against Alek and Feyr, critting Alek for 6 and hitting Feyr for 4. Alek is weakened and Feyr is poisoned. You both get to take saves against those now, since you would have been able to save at the end of your turn.

Alek hits, but between weakened and the swarm's resistance against non-area attacks, he only deals 2 damage.

Swarm 3 stays in place.

Again, just to remind you all, Lephisto has his encounter power that deals 2[W], and his daily that deals 3[W] and (hit or miss) an ally within 5 can spend a healing surge.[/sblock]
