Where can I find your comments regarding the bard? I am unsure about the sorcerer, but, so far, I generally like the bard. I would like to get some other takes on it.

Doing them arcane is as simple as "create" a new class called "Arcane adept" which is in every way equal to the adept... but its magic comes from arcane sources...

No big problem to me ;)
 

Adepts were only made divine for game mechanic reasons. If you read the descriptive text it states that they are a mixture of divine and arcane spellcasters and their spell list reflects this. No reason to be limited by that. They fill the Hedge Wizard niche far better than sorcerers IMO.
