I'm back.. I'll post action as soon as Vrina and the enemy has acted.

ooc: Is findoram currently threatened by one of the scorpion things?

(OOC: Yep. He can dismount and use his camel for cover and to get him out of being threatened, though)

But that would provoke an AoO for leaving a threatened square, right? (assuming he does more then withdrawing)

(OOC: He should be okay--because of an idiosyncrasy between mount and rider squares, he could claim to be 5-foot-stepping down after the dismount)

Okey then, Findoram dismounts (the 5'stepish option) and casts Enlarge Person on himself (that can be done untreathened, right?)

(OOC: Yes, definitely, but like last time, it takes a full round. Also, if he fails the Ride check to dismount as a free action, it will take a move action and he won't be able to start casting Enlarge (you can begin a full-round-action with a standard action, but you can't begin a full-round casting-time spell unless you have both actions) )

Ah, yes, i knew i forgot something. Findoram is never gong to make that ride check so i'll settle with dismounting, drawing a weapon and try to direct my poor mount away from the nasty scorpion. How's that?

(OOC: Works for me. Just waiting to make sure Irene is really going to risk that ride check, since Findoram's chances on the DC 15 to dismount are about as good as Irene's on the DC 20 to be able to act if she stays on (that is--not good) and she loses her entire round of actions if she fails that check)
