You mean CW, right? It's an extremely potent PrC in the right hands, but it seems alright for me if you take the designer's note that the Free Action feint is not using infinitely at will (otherwise you could just use it again and again until you succeed with no penalty for failure). It would probably be better described as a Swift action feint, really.

I can't believe I typed CAdv ... I had the book in front of me while posting.

I really like that 10th level version. Either one works, although I'm in full agreement that the 'feint as a free action' should really be interpreted as 'feint as a swift action.'

Yeah, the designer has said that it should be swift as well somewhere. The 10 level version even has it labeled as Swift, which is a good attention to detail on the part of its creator.

Do we want to open discussion on the 10th level, or keep it to the 5 (with the addendum)? As I said, I am fine with either (I don't see the ability/level thing too unbalancing with the base poor damage being done).

Well, a dagger with Weapon Specialisation does the same damage as a longsword and more than a shortsword (which is also a light weapon), so you aren't giving up *that* much damage (1 or 2). I recognise that this PrC is overpowered compared to playing a straight Rogue, but I don't think that means it is too powerful. I'm inclined to vote it in either 5 or 10. Those who wish straight Rogue to be a viable option in combat probably should not do the same, though.

Let's formalize it. So the proposal should be either:

1. The 5-level PrC from CW, with the addendum that the 5th-level ability is a swift actoin.
2. The 10-level PrC listed above.
3. Neither. The PrC is not allowed in LEB.

Sound good?

It has more damage potential, however it has far fewer skill points. More damage output, less skills, sort of like a fighter.

Regarding the feint, I think it should be once per attack. It's pretty sad when its only once a round as a swift action.
