Round 158: As Pakin approaches to 90N80E20Z, Gathra bellows fiercely. Pakin ignores the pitiful cry (26 SR check).

Pakin hits (rolled 27+3+1) for 29-10. Gathra has 102 hp.

Round 159: Pakin ignores another bellow (26 SR check) and hits once for 20-10.

Round 160: Pakin ignores another bellow (24 SR check) and hits three times for 78-30 = 48 more damage. Gathra has 44 hp.

Round 161: Gathra runs out of the arena.

Next for LE: a brain golem. (Fiend Folio) The suckage continues!

Dorian Gray Matter, a burly humaonid about 8 feet tall, a brain for a head, and pretty much everything else, slimes his way into the arena.
Mods[sblock]It moves to 60n100e (assuming that puts him out of AoO range) and readies an the mind blast, which he will continue with every round that Pakin is in range.[/sblock]

Round 162

Dorian runs like scared brain matter.

First in round 162 for Lawful Evil is a salamander noble (Monster Manual).

Whoever is running Pakin in Evil Halfling's absence[sblock]Pakin recognizes his opponent as a noble salamander, an outsider from the Elemental Plane of Fire. He knows its outsider traits and that it has spell-like abilities, one of which is fireball.[/sblock]

No. As soon as a combatant is defeated (e.g. flees the arena), its replacement enters before the opponent may act. The only times the opponent may act is if the combatant is defeated in the middle of the opponent's turn. Sometimes the opponent gets a full round to act because the combatant is at -1 to -9 hit poiints, but has not been so for its entire turn (like when an AoO brings the combatant down to -1 to -9 HP).
