Human, Vow of Poverty Fighter, feat-monkey.

Exalted Human knight.. almost a variant paladin

A halfling mugger (rogue with subduing strike) who _always_ uses nonlethal damage against sentient opponents.

Githyanki psychic rogue/scout/elocater - Instead of the signature silver sword maybe have him use a pair of glassteel kukri. A skirmish specialist.

Githyanki scout/psychic warrior - a sniper type character.

As you can tell I'm a bit of a githyanki fan.

A character concept I've always wanted to play is Halfling Fighter that dual-wields scythes, using Two-Weapon Fighting, Monkey Grip, and Wield Over-Sized Weapon.

Or a good-aligned necromancer that asks permission before re-animating the dead, and uses his skeleton minions to help with thinks like public works projects. (Would need to use mindless undead that don't automatically gain an evil alignment.)

Or a wizard that is strictly specialized in crafting magic items, and does not actually cast spells, using items (wands, etc.) instead.

I once made a character based on the Pygmalion and Galatea legend. It required a liberal reading of some of the psionic powers and the creation of an awaken astral being power, but having an astral construct cohort who looks like a physically weak human but is actually far, far more dangerous than you are is quite entertaining. I never got to play him, though. I should revisit that character sometime, maybe in a play-by-post.

Heh, I was surprised at how few people got the reference when I introduced my "lovely companion" as Galatea. :)

I would like to play a male drow, who escaped the Underdark because he started riots. He would a crusader for Masculine Equality. He would give long empassioned speeches on how males are oppressed. "Lack of a womb does not make me inferior!"

And he kept burning his jockstrap, and getting other drows to do the same.

A Rogue or other sneaky guy in a team full of other sneaky guys. We'd do tricky things and avoid the hell out of fair fights. This concept requires party and DM approval.

A human Fighter-Wizard staff master. Go into Eldritch Knight. No armor, no sword, just robes and a staff. But if someone sees him and comes up to melee him thinking hes just a typical Wizard, he goes totally ninja with his staff, full two weapon fighting and two weapon defense all the way, specialized and improved crit and everything. And take Craft Staff and make an arsenal of different custom staves.

Ive had the idea for a while but just havent had the oppurtunity to use it.

Also, a hyper, coffee addicted Fighter/Monk name Java Ginsu, who uses two longswords with the one feat from the Eberron setting book that lets you treat them as Monk weapons. Between Flurry and the combined BAB of a Monk/Fighter, and the full TWF chain, thats like 9 attacks a round at 20th level, and then of course use longswords of speed for 2 more attacks, and kifocus so they act as adamantine weapons. I just want to try it. Java Ginsu, he slices and dices!
