The CB sheet is good for this reason. A power card "sheet" for the minimalists, backed up by a two-sheet full listing. Works for me.

I like a well organized quick reference sitting on top of the full math-heavy sheets

Absolutely, as others have stated in this thread.

I very much like the direction that Very's was going with the booklet sheet. Put the math in the sheet but in the book and have the first page be the summary. http://www.enworld.org/forum/4e-fan...acter-booklet-v2-new-1-page-version-beta.html

Also there was a thread here about using a character sheet 'mat' for at the table play. That thread is at http://www.enworld.org/forum/d-d-4t...ome-non-rpg-fans-learned-they-want-share.html with the first example at http://www.enworld.org/forum/attach...ant-share-single-dungeons-dragons-playmat.pdf

There is also the iphone web page character sheet that you can upload your CB file to at iplay4e characters

I'd love the character builder to generate something similar.

To me, a 4e character sheet must show the full effect of each power, feat, item and so on - not necessarily repeated in full sentences, but it must record all rules elements.

It's also very useful to show all bonuses that go into each attack bonus and damage roll - at least once, for example, in a basic attack table - to extrapolate quickly for any unusual situations.

One of my Top 5 Feature Requests for the CB is the ability to save/export a character to a CSV file so that it could be sucked into any number of third-party character sheets. For instance, I'd love to import a character directly to Verys' character booklet or that playmat.

Maybe Wizards will do it for my birthday! C'mon September! ;)

If anyone can figure out how to get the CB data to fill my character sheet, I'd be forever grateful.

I'm glad some people are finding the booklet style to their liking ;) I admit I've switched to the CB sheet myself for now - just too handy a tool not to use. But I wish I could get their tool to work with my (with fellow ENWorlder's suggestions) design. It would be the best of both worlds, for me.

Single side of a single sheet of paper. I play two characters in our 4e game, so I want the info on the sheet to be as simple and complete as possible. I don't care if it's attractive, as long as it gets the job done at the table quickly and easily.

Here's the latest version of what I use. As we hit milestones, I pencil in extra boxes of action points and magic item dailies, to be ticked off later when I use them. Also, the primary colour is blue because last time I printed it my black cartridge was dead. :D
