Again your logic seems a little off...

In this game where balance was a priority (4e)... A different set of designers working under the assumptions of a different game system created a class (the warlord)balanced around the confined structure of AEDU class design (because well there were balance issues with the warlord and essentials classes).
The balance issue which occurred in essentials was not at all because of any warlord dependency on AEDU this is false, yes it was designed within that but their error was because the essentials designers decided to re-define the nature of the basic attack (within several of their classes it became a usually and consistentntly enhanced thing).

This happened because essentials classes eschewed the AEDU class structure...

Nope they didnt need the class structure they needed 1 or 2 powers in their class they could enhance which wasnt assumed elsewhere as being mostly un and/or rarely enhanced

Then hang their other enhancements on it.
