I'm having a ton of fun with the Barbarian. Previous editions were very mediocre, but the 5e Barb is fun and effective.
I'm playing a Dwarven Frenzy barbarian who took Great Weapon Master as a feat at 4th level. I run into a bunch of enemies, rage, and with my high Con and bucket of hitpoints, I become a whirling hit point sponge o'death. I immediately do reckless attacks (who cares if I get hit...I can take it!) and if I crit or kill an enemy, I get a free bonus action attack. The fun doesn't stop there! Now that I'm 5th level, I can attack twice and *still* get a bonus action smash to the face.
In conclusion...5e Barbarians are quite possibly my favorite incarnation of the class.
