As the Vanir's greatsword ripps through the knife throwers arm Balavous moves up to engage the nearest thief...covering the barbarians flank.

Santoro attempts to use the distraction caused by the warriors to slip around for a sneak attack on one of the guards.

[Hide check if unobserved, otherwise Bluff to create a distraction to Hide. If attacked by one of the guards will attempt to Feint and then attack.]

"What!? You still stand... no matter, ye be dead now dog!"

[Thorkin will power attack -2 to attack +2 damage; so +7 to hit, 1d12+7 to damage if he hits; hoping that if he drops this one he can cleave another near by]

With a great bellow that would make his Northern ancestors proud, Thorkin cleaves once again into the thief, dropping him like a stone. He reflexively directs a blow at the thief who threw the knife, but that thief dodges nimbly below the whistling, gory blade. The Bossonian, Balavous, runs forward with his axe and blade drawn. His axe misses the thief he chooses to attack, but barely. The thief isn't so lucky a moment later, as Balavous' blade catches him on the shoulder. Meanwhile, Santoro sneaks cautiously around, and takes a stance in between the two thieves still standing, both of whom are unaware of his presence.

The thug to which Balavous drew thrusts his blade outward at the Bossonian. His suit of rugged Westermarck leather stops most of the force of the blade's blow, but he still receives a minor wound. The other Ophirean rogue throws another dagger, and this one doesn't miss. It catches Gyrrho in the back as he runs to escape, and the Kothian hits the floor with an inch of steel protruding from his back.

Lightly Wounded = 75% health or above
Moderately Wounded = 50%-75% health
Severely Wounded = 25%-50% health
Critically Wounded = less than 25% health

Ophirean Thug 1: dead
Ophirean Thug 2: moderately wounded

Thorkin will say "Backstab a man will you!?! Let's see how ye far against one who is facing you... and with that he will attack the knife thrower...

[not sure which thief is in front of Thorkin but will attack the knife thrower if possible; base attack +9, damage 1d12+5 if he hits]

Keeping quite, Balavous sports a wicked grin....twisting his grip on his axe and coming upwards with the blade while slashing neck high with the sword.

While my friend Thorkin bellows about the ignobility of trying to stab a man in the back, Santoro is going to... stab one of them in the back.

[Thrown dagger, +8 ranged attack (+1 for sneak attack style included) 1d4-1 damage +4d8 from sneak attack]

Thorkin delivers a massive chop to the dagger-thrower, opening a ghastly wound in his side to which the rogue presses a hand. Balavous once more strikes at one of the thugs, and this time it is his axe that chops a frightful gash in the thug's belly. At the same time, Santoro hurls a dagger into the back of the thug who just received an axe-blow in the gut. He staggers under the force of the blade in his back, and falls. The remaining rogue makes a desperate stab at the Vanir barbarian, but fails to penetrate his mail.

Lightly Wounded = 75% health or above
Moderately Wounded = 50%-75% health
Severely Wounded = 25%-50% health
Critically Wounded = less than 25% health

Ophirean Thug 1: dead
Ophirean Thug 2: dead
Ophirean Thug 3: severely wounded

Thorkin: unhurt
Santoro: unhurt
Balavous: lightly wounded

"HA fool, my sister use to hit harder with her fist...but don't fret, looks that you will be joining yer friends in Hell!!" Thorkin bellows, with a wide grin on his face and a dangerous look in his eyes...

[Attack +9 to hit and 1d12+5 damage]

"...Hell!" With that, Thorkin lets loose a massive blow that cleaves the remaining thug's head clean off his shoulders. The head thuds dully onto the now-bloodstained floor. Four bodies now lie dead in the Wandering Eye, three Ophireans and a Kothian.

[Just went ahead and finished the battle, as I had a pretty good idea Thorkin's blow would finish the guy off. He actually got a critical, so...]
