Copper supporter question

I am guessing this is posted somewhere else, but I have not found it .. .. ..

1. If the copper subscriber title is not present, does that mean I have not done something after making the payment yet? like activating something yet .. .. ..?

2. is there a step by st "subscribing for dummies" e-book I need to read?

On an aside I have another problem: Are XLR files not allowed? [I didn't see the need to start another thread for a secod small problem]

.XLS files have been allowed in the past. all of the maps that I have ever uploaded were done with Excel or its OpenOffice clone saving in Excel format.

You must have me confused with someone else -- I have no hotmail account. I did check my regular email, and Scotley sent me a copy of the map that I was able to open. Good enough?

Scotley figured it out that I was using an antiquated MS works spreadsheet. He told me to save it as an XLS file and it now works.
