"Next!" Corilo started focusing his fire towards the second ogre. He could not believe how well this fight was going. The ogres' typical propensity towards poor planning was paying off big time.

OOC:
Corilo shoots the ogre in front with his action and with his bonus action.

Round 5

GM: Initiative
Corilo: 14
Lorenzo: 13
Gnorth: 12
Scheppen: 11
Brue: 9
Ogres: 9

Results from Round 4 are posted. Short version: Another ogre is dead, Gnorth got hit for 13 damage, and the final ogre is in the cave mouth and was injured by both Boddynock and Brue.

Please post actions for Round 5. Please note that this ogre is also squeezing and therefore attacks against it have advantage.

Corillo continued firing, his first bolt striking the ogre cleanly, but the second was nearly a miss. Fortunately, Gnorth's earlier encouragement caused the crossbowman to pause and take a steadying breath before the shot. Lorenzo cleanly spitted the large creature, but failed to hit any major organs. Encouraged by his legendary performance so far, Gnorth swung his hammer as hard as he could, but missed the ogre cleanly, hitting the side of the cave instead. "Hurm... also destroyer of rocks!" Boddynock silently continued his magical assault, hitting the ogre with a minor blast of fire. Brue followed up on the gnome's attack with her steel, cutting the ogre across the chest. Devastatingly wounded, the ogre shielded itself with its club before running back into the cave. "MMMWwwaaaa! HALP!" it cried in some kind of pidgin Common.

OOC: Round 6 starts now. For the sake of convenience, the Ogre has 6 HP left and an AC of 11 (so if you see someone down it, you can move out of combat rounds without wasting rolls). Corilo expended the Combat Inspiration that Gnorth granted him in the last round. Note: Since the ogre is no longer squeezing, attacks do NOT have advantage any longer.

Gnorth shakes off a heavy blow from the ogre, the result of a failed deflection with his shield. Reminder to self, he thought, get a shield.

Certainly feeling emboldened by his now 2/2 record, Gnorth presses the attack!

"Halt! Hammer hour!"

OOC: HP 18/31 PRESS THE ATTACK [roll0] [roll1] [roll2]

Elated by his success, Gnorth was not considering the tough hide of the orge, nor the reflexes it had. Gnorth was certainly surprised when the ogre grabbed his weapon midswing and toss him back a foot.

"Hm."
