A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
Just saw the maps alpha in D&D Beyond when I logged in today and played around with it a bit.
Not too shabby. If you are looking for a simple digital battlemap with tokens and fog of war and are already using D&D Beyond, it is worth playing around with. If they would have had this a few years ago I may never have dove down the VTT rabbit hole. Since the encounters and character sheets can already be managed in DDB, a battlemap with tokens I can move around, plus manual fog of war is all I really need. I have barely played with it but what little I have gives me a positive first impression.
