Andus gets up and dusts himself off. As Socrates suggests that he try the door he looks around at the others to see if anyone else will try. After waiting a short while, the half-giant walks up to the door and tries bashing it in.

Tallask blinks, and listens for a moment to get a general idea of the voices (conversation, argument, shouts of battle, etc). Assuming nothing untoward, he will step in, looking for them.

SEGMENT 121

Tallask easily hears a loud crash. It came from within. A loud gasp of pain is also heard. It sounded deep as if from a large person.

Andus steps up to the door looks at it, them at the others. This a slow shrug of the shoulders he unleases into the door. Elderich energy flares out from the door. Jayde, Odten can not see well as they are blinded by the flash. Socrates, Andus and Adamant instinctly covered/turned their faces.

Andus yelps and his hands shot back from the door from the jolt they take. His hands are raw and sore (Nat 20 on save! 10 pts of damage). The door yet stands however. Then a crack is seen. The crack broadens across the doorway then spiders out from the points of impact. With a sound of fallen rocks, it crumbles away.

Jayde, Odten (nat 20!), and everyone else are struck by the sour sweet smell of the sewers.
Adamant sees boards of wood under the rumble. It appeared the reverse side was covered up with wood and mortar either to conceal or keep others off of it.

*** 100 XP for everyone including Tallask for finding and deactivating the warded secret door.

The large man looks at his hands and then at the mul. Andus shrugs.

"Me fine. What now?"

Socrates smiles. "Andus you still amaze me. Thank you for doing that."
The engineer steps through the doorway and looks into the sewers.

Odten's eyes widen as the door collapses from Andus' strike.

"Ah, that was quite a feat, friend. Are you sure you are uninjured? That blast looked powerful, to say the least."

Tallask sighs, and heads in to the house, looking for the source of the noise, his longspear at the ready.

Andus looks at Odten, then at his hands, then back at Odten, then back to his hands, and finally back at Odten while bobbing his lrage head up and down.

"Yup! Me fine."

The now exposed sewer goes left and right. The air is cooler and has a damp feel that chills you. Looking in, a small amount of brown lumpy water flows to your left.
