Are you using BoVD in a 3E or 3.5 game?

Well, from the 3.5 text of the Improved Critical feat:
"This effect doesn’t stack with any other effect that expands the threat range of a weapon."

So in 3.5, Improved Critical has no effect unless you're using a falchion that isn't iron or steel. Threat range: 12-20. (18-20, tripled for Iron Power.)

In 3E, there's nothing stopping Iron Power and Improved Critical stacking. Threat range: 9-20. (18-20, tripled for Iron Power, doubled for Improved Critical = 18-20 quadrupled = 9-20.)
