OK, i'm sure we still want to use this harp somehow. what exactly shall we do with it? :)

I say make it a greater artifact type deal, with lot's of neat spell-like abilities useable at will, like True Resurrection cast on everything within 50' and the like :D Ooh, and make it able to summon a great wyrm of any dragon type that is not unique! :D (Yes, I'm horribly evil, but hey, it's all good, right? ;) )

nahh... that's a bit over the top. i don't want to give it any powers that chron would have already. from the looks of it, the intent of the harp was to do defensive things for chron that would give him extra actions that he wouldn't have to waste time doing himself. i don't want to even give it any death-related powers.

Well, I was going over the top :D

O.K. In all seriousness now, defensive spells and stuff....here is some general ideas of non spell powers.

it should give it's possessor a +5 luck bonus on all saves.
It should give it's possessor a +10 insight bonus to AC.

Spells - All useable at will of course... :D

Prismatic Sphere
Spell Turning
Wall of Force
Magic Circle against good/chaos/evil/law.
Improved Invisibility
Non-Detection

and so on. You get the point. All caster levels should be 20+.

now that's better. :) i'll give it some thought over the weekend. maybe we can choose what spells it does in conjuction with chron's spell-like abilities

7 - primatic spray

2 - detect thoughts, levitate, Tasha's hideous laughter

6 - antimagic field, legend lore

8 - mass charm, Otto's irresistable dance, power word blind
9 - freedom, meteor swarm, prismatic sphere

chronepsis:

0 - detect poison, disrupt undead, light, mending
1 - chill touch, detect undead

6 - circle of death, Otiluke's flaming sphere

Let's see... first things first... This is IMHO by the way...

Aasty - Drop Prismatic Sphere in place of Wish. Drop limited wish in place of Spell Turning or Reverse Gravity...

Chronny - Drop Enervation for Dimension Door or Dimensional Anchor, drop Energy Drain for Wish.

Falazure - Drop Scare for Spectral Hand, drop Weird for Wish ...

Thay have practically infinite Xp, why not have them use it. Good call on the Horrid Wilting for Falazure though. Horrid Wilting is by far the most powerfull offensive spell an arcane spellcaster can learn. To bad that Undead and constructs are immune to it...

Anywaysm that's my opinion. :D
