“No, no . . . not cracks, sounds on other side of cracks,” Lukisalinari explained gently, peering around Vervaerynosz’s shoulder to look in the directions of the sounds.

The young dragon looks at his sister a bit perplexed, then embarassed, then protective, then curious.

"Wait here. I will go check it out."

Vervaerynosz moves toward the crack that Lukisalinari is pointing out. He sees if he can get to the crack, then he will try to squeeze through it and see if he can get to the source of the noise.

Khirsahfalithet rushes over to his brother before he can push his way out through the crack.

"Are you mad? We should wait for mother before we go gallavanting about in the unknown," he says.

Kharasmadrion's curiosity gets the better of him, and he moves to the crack nearest that one that will admit him, trying to slip through.

Justyrathrix put his claw on Kharasmadrion's leg "Slow down... The older first!" and Justyrathrix try to pass before his younger brother.

Kharasmadrion shows the extent of his respect for elders, hip-checking his brother as he tries to pass.

I aim to misbehave
Lukisalinari hisses at her brothers' little quarrel, to show her displeasure.

She then realized that if everyone left, she would be the last one out of the room . . . she might get stuck again. Her eyes widen at her thought of being alone . . . and possibly trapped.

"After you!" he said just as it was volonteer that he lose.

Chapter 1 First Hunt

[OOC: And the game must go on...]

When the young wrymlings finally squirm through the chinks in the grotto wall they find themselves crawling along twisting passages barely large enough for them to get through. Several minutes are spent worming their way through with a great deal of scraping and clawing, luckily the guttural voices cover all sounds of their progress.

When the first young silver reaches the end of the passage he is greeted by more sights and sounds then he has ever experienced in his short life. The passage opens up on a ledge 20 feet above the floor. The chamber beyond is a huge square room of worked stone, the walls are covered in ornate carvings of dragons engaged in various daily activities of hunting and flying around the room. It is upon one such carving the wyrmling now perches. The whole chamber is lit by a series of globes held up by the stone dragons, each glowing a soft white and measuring 3 ft in diameter. A single exit, 30 ft high, leads out of the room into more chambers beyond. Dominating this cavern is a stone couch carved to support a lounging dragon of immense size. Piled high in one corner is a mound of treasure. Uncountable gold and steel coins, jewels, objects of art, and ornate weaponry make up the mound.

Near to the treasure sits a large wagon yoked to a pair of oxen, half filled. Five figures are gathered around an open topped barrel, each one has a golden goblet brimming with wine. The five are obviously related to dragons some how, standing on two legs, their bodies are covered in brassy-green scales, short stubby tails and a pair of wings sprout from each of their backs. Each one is wearing some dull metal shirt made up of tiny little rings and carries a sharp metal talon attached to their hips. Their harsh guttural language almost makes sense, even a few words from their conversations are recognizable; dragon, steal, captured, search, eggs.

Just as a burst of coarse laughter springs from five snouts, a curious figure comes waddling towards the group. The figure is squat and short with dirty pink skin, a pot-belly, and a bushy brown pelt attached to it’s face. It is dressed like the dragon-men wearing a metal shirt and helmet much too large for it’s small body. It seems to have filled out the extra room by wearing several layers of clothes, including a bit of rag wrapped around it’s head to keep the helm from falling over it’s eyes. The small figured carries a gold plate studded with jewels almost too big for it. It squeaks something at the dragon-men, one of them responds by backhanding the pathetic creature, sending it sprawling. Renewed howls of laughter rise from the group as the little creature struggles to right itself.

Kharasmadrion rushes out, shouting "Who are you? What are you doing with that wagon? Where's our mother?" in Draconic, and Solamnic if they do not understand his first attempt.

[OOC: At this point your wyrmlings only understand and speak draconic, as that was the only language your mother used when speaking to her eggs. Your bonus languages will come into play at a later date. The draconians are speaking common which shares some words with draconic that you can recognize.

Also I should note that newly hatched dragons can't fly, and take -2 penalty to Dexterity and attack rolls, as per the Draconomicon pg. 12]
