Any other resources any of you might know of?

The dragon mag issues that gave 20 level progressions for dragons has worked as well. It made playing nobility and diplomatic missions much more fun.

The Iron Kingdoms books also works well. We use their magic item creation rules. With them, tech tends to rule in the mass production catagory. Magic (especially spellware) is rarer, but much more coveted for it.

I'm also using the Spycraft weapons sourcebook. It has some great rules for procuring equipment via the black market and modifying weapons. It also levels the playing field for slug throwers. Their sniper rifles are much more effective.

I also created the following PrC's for the game.

The Power Armor Specialist is based on a house rule though. I let pilots use their class abilities in power armor. They can also take the Power Armor prof feat without meeting the usual prereqs. I made the PrC for fighters and pilots.

I absolutely adore Dragonstar. D&D in space with magic and dragons, its my ideal setting. I tried to run it once, but the group fell apart before I could. My old DM always teased me by saying he would love to run a game of it sometime, but he never did :(

I'd still love to playa campaign.

For my own game I had planned to cross Call of Cthulhu into it, and have the Dragon Empire run across a planet in the Outlands that was ruled by a resident Great Old One. And then the Unification Church would find out that the "deitypes" they worshipped werent true gos, nd all the gods the Church had misplaced had melded into a blasphemous obscenity, and become a new Outer God, that was bent on destrying the Empire.

And then the InterPlanar Empire of Orcus would invade from another galaxy, with insane wizards riding byakhee through space, giant undead space whales carrying demon cyborg troops, and and giant undead flesh/iron golem mecha war machines.

I also had planned to use the mecha rules from D20 Future (just imagine mecha figting against Pit Fiends!), and have a special unit of Epic level war-sorcerers that flew in formation through space using using only magic, and could take down capital ships by themselves. I always imagined that with the size of the Empire and its technical resources that the higher ups and power players would be in the 50 level range.

Ahh, and now, just imagine Duskblades in powerarmor. I always loved the Dragonstar take on Paladins, and the Special Outlands Army Recon. That was just so cool. I wanted to give Paladins special mecha motorcycles, like Cyclone Armor, that bonded with them since they lost thier mounts.

Ahhh, what dreams I had... Dragonstar+Mecha Crusade+D20 Call of Cthulhu=FUN FUN FUN!!

Dragonstar was a great concept. I'd still love to run it sometime, though I might move it to d20 Future or True20.

I thought it was Fantasy Flight Entertainment. But yes I knew that.

Oh sorry man, FFE = Really, REALLY bad supplements that were way overpriced and of abysmal quality. (i own one book made by them... i will never even look at their company again... they just took photos of things from Hot Topic and made them "major artifacts".)

So, what will Fantasy Flight do with the Dragonstar IP (as well as their Blue Planet IP)?

Are they open-minded to grant publishing license for their IPs?

If so, who would be willing to bear the responsibility of reviving Dragonstar?

The only thing keeping Dragonstar from being the perfect setting for me is the focus on racial alignment tendency. I'd prefer to have nothing like that.

I think the spell warheads are a fun idea.

Well, it's not like there will be a reunification of drow and elves anytime soon.

If you want to do away with alignment, Your Campaign, Your Rules.
