Eberron: Need a good build for a Githzerai Paladin...

Yes folks my previous paladin got put down due the fact the other player's character hates gnolls. (Go figure.)

So I decided "Hey I'll use Gith!" Thus my new character.

My problem? While the stats are set in stone, (shown below) I AM trying to consider what course of action/direction my paladin will take. Yes I'm still going with Silver Flame. Yes now that I'm githzerai, I'm probably going to chase down abberations, (especially Illithids).

But what I want to know is, where to go from here?!

Str: 10
Dex: 14
Con: 12
Int: 7
Wis: 14
Cha: 18

So honestly folks, how to max out this build?

Are those the stats before or after adding in the gith modifications?

After. I had 34 point buy usage...and then I factored in the racial stats.

maybe I am missing something then?

Str: 10 = 2 points
Dex: 14 - 6 = 0 points
Con: 12 = 4 points
Int: 7 +2 = 1 point
Wis: 14 -2 = 4 points
Cha: 18 = 16 points
=27 points

Did I count incorrectly?

Uhm maybe I miscaculated...

*did start out with 8 in all abilities...*

Also point out Githzerai get +6 not -6. Unless you're subtracting stuff...

note that I was undoing each of the stat adjustments to see how many point buy points you used.

Seem to be missing 7, that could greatly improve this character.

Uhm well if that's case, it would CERTAINLY improve my Str, my Con or my Int.

Well we didn't start play so maybe I can fix this before next friday.

soon as you get the stats finalized that will help with any sort of min/max build

Edit: personally, I'd probably boost up dex and wis (I'd also take away 2 points from cha to do this as well). Take a feat to improve caster level for spell like abilities (the spell like version of practiced caster) of the gith and pick up a monks belt
