This sounds cool. I'll toss together a concept.

I'm thinking perhaps a mage of some kind...servant of Thoth or Ptah, perhaps...

Or an Isis-ian druid...

Probably do more in campaign. I kinda want him to be an ordinary peasant who had a divine vision and was commanded to take up arms against evil. I'll start statting him up tomorrow.

How do you feel about the Walker in the Waste PrC from Sandstorm. It's a rather Egyptian-themed PrC for a divine caster (in fact at 10th level you remove all your organs and put then in canopic jars). I was thinking divine emissary of Anubis (hence the whole 'embalmed' thing).

Walker in the Waste is fine, under 2 conditions.

*I don't recall if there is an initial constitution requirement, but I'm going to say that your constitution had to have been 14 before you turned into a dry lich.
*If you want an escort, keep the golem and mummy entourages to a level that doesn't interfere with reason. In other words, a few at most. If you just have 2 or so, I'll have them return from death (if they've been killed) when you complete your daily prayers to anubis.

Scout is fine with no conditions.

Eeeexcellent (cackle, cackle), I can do that just fine. I was planning on keeping the escort to a pretty minimal level, if just for the sake of convenience, I'll decide whether I'll go with the golems or mummies at some point (if we get epic, I might try making a spell that makes a bunch of them temporarily, but that'll just be a standard Summon seed thing). Also fine with the Con 14, it seems eminently reasonable.

Quick Question......... I've been dying to have an intelligent weapon. I made an intelligent composite longbow. I decided to post the stats for it for approval, or I'll switch weapons.

The total cost for the weapon (as I figured it) is 164,400gp. The weapon can also speak and use telepathy with the wielder. I figured it could be the link between my character and Set. If you think that is too much, I will be happy to get rid of it. [/sblock]

Alright, I'll pick between doing it with Sorcerer or Cleric sometime later when we have a better idea of party composition. Both work nice with the concept, so I'll work out which whenever.

EDIT: Ignore that, Walker's a divine PrC, Cleric it is.

It's not too much, I actually think it's not enough. It needs a connection with Set's desert portfolio and his ability to control sandstorms, as well as a power boost. I also have to disallow detect thoughts, as it is divination. If you want, I can put something together for you that I think would be decent for 164,000, or if you have any ideas or tweaks feel free to submit them.
