Faerun vs. Faerûn

In the French translation, Faerûn has become Féérune, which looks like the words fée (fay) and rune (guess what), but sounds closer, due to the double é, to féérie (fairy or faerie).

So, I'd hazard that the translators would agree with anyone who says that fay rune is the intended pronounciation. :)
