And now the exciting chase scene...Round 1
Had to go dig up a few chase rules first...
The party is attempting to escape in a skycab, hotly pursued by the villains in a skytruck.
The order is
Kae
Zook
The bad guys
Bharag/Veyk
Rethlin
Veyk and only Veyk, can drive the carriage at this point, as he's the only one able to reshape his body enough to reach the reins from the inside.
The rest of the party can fire out the back windows, try to support Veyk, or do anything else they'd normally do in a carriage being driven erratically above the ground.
Firing out the back is done at -2 while the carriage is moving.
Veyk, you have a 50 foot lead on the skytruck.
Every round you need to make an opposed Handle Animal test against the driver of the skytruck. If you win, you gain an extra 50 feet on them.
Alternately, you can try to break contact by making an opposed Handle Animal test against the driver of the skytruck with a bonus of +2 for every 50 feet over the first 50 between you. Winning the test means you escape.
Right now you have only two kinds of terrain to worry about: clouds and clear sky.
You can reach the clouds in one round. If you're in the clouds, you and the driver of the other skytruck both take a penalty of -6 on your Handle Animal tests and have full concealment from each other, so you can't target each other.
You can, however, be pursued.
Things will get more exciting if you get around buildings, which you could do in a few rounds if you decided you wanted to.
Kae is up.
