Final words...

In our last episode of "Final Words", the party was being chased through the skies of Sharn by the Emerald Claw, their skycab coming apart about them.

The mad assassin Manticore had killed Kae, but Rethlin promptly healed her.
Meanwhile, Bharag had built up a bigger lead on the Emerald Claw as he fled into the clouds, seeking concealment from Manticore's deadly fire.

The order is:

Kae
Zook
The bad guys
Rethlin
Bharag

Kae is up.

Zook still nervous about the magic leaking out of the sky cab continues advising landing and tries to help with directions again,still to no avail

[Autumn]

Kae recovers consciousness with a gasp, sitting bolt upright. Hair hangs down over her face, and she looks entirely discomposed for the first time since any of the others have known her. She scrambles to her feet and returns to the window, spitting colorful and entirely un-ladylike abuse at the now-unseen scycoach behind.

Her clenched fist crackles with energy, itching to unleash a blast if the pursuers should come within range again.

Bhalag keeps the skycoach heading straight through the clouds.

Curses nearly the mimic of Kae's come from somewhere behind you: apparently Manticore is also frustrated with this turn of events.

Emerald Claw chase check (1d20-5=13)

Unfortunately, Kae's curses, plus the occasional burst of sparks from the skycab, seem to be enough to allow the Emerald Claw to make some attempt at catching up. They gain and sound as if they're 100 feet back.

Handle Animal: 1d20-1=19

Bhalag guides the skycoach back down, just below the clouds, wary that if he holds on to long in the clouds that they are going to be splattered all over the side of some tower or bridge.

He looks for a place with a little cover that he can set the skycoach down, a strategic location where they can counterattack from.

Zook waits and watches, hoping Bhalag can land safely.
