D&D General Finished reading my 4th "History of D&D" book. Thoughts.

Have you read Art & Arcana, @DarkCrisis? I was pleasantly surprised at how frank it was in discussing both the TSR and WotC eras, with some (brief) first person interviews.

I'm not sure I have it in me to read four D&D history books, but I was given Slaying the Dragon as a gift, so I'm glad that's a good one. I'll plan on reading that in the next year.

Was that his first rpg history book? Sadly I dint own a copy and am not willing to pay the exorbitant prices for one. I hope he reprints it or republishes the content somehow.

According to WorldCat, there are 158 libraries that have the book. If you contact your local public library you can probably get it from Interlibrary Loan. They might even have it as a ebook.

The University of North Texas has a copy. Maybe your local library can get it through Interlibrary Loan. Though most libraries won't do CDs or DVDs through the mail. Might be worth a shot.

I've read the middle two. They were good. I'm looking forward to Riggs moving forward to WotC-era.
