Fist of Raziel build help

Hi all,

I need to make a fist of raziel build for an upsoming 1 shot, so I thought I'd ask for some advice...

I've got 10 levels. Is there any good reason to not make it a simple Pal6/Fist4? I can make it 11 levels if I make the character old age...

Also, I get to choose a +5 weapon. I was thinking a holy lightning bust great axe... automatic crits with the confirming smite ability, but any advice would eb much appreciated!

If you have Wis 12 or better, consider Pal4/Ranger2/Fist4. A fourth-level Paladin can meet all the prereqs bar the BAB if he's got a bonus spell from Wisdom, so a couple of levels in either Ranger or Fighter can be added. Fighter for the feats, but favoured enemy in either evil outsider or undead is shiny :) .

If you go for the extra level, I'd recommend a LAWFUL weapon. Rips through another set of DR, is nearly as useful (depending in circumstances) plus the fifth level Fist ability is holy smite, i.e. when smiting you'll be doing 2d6 holy plus 2d6 lawful...

Never underestimate the value of pure enhancement bonus as well.

I can't decide between one less fighter level and the special moutn and what I've got below. What do you think? Obviously, the DM isn't using standard treasure levels...

an alternate build is to go cleric 4/paladin 2/fighter 1/Fist 3. This gets you 6th level cleric casting, which is considerably better than 8th level paladin casting. The cost is only 1 BAB, and practiced spellcaster takes care of the lost caster levels from paladin, fighter and fist1.

Another possibility

Clr3/Ftr4/Fist3. Cleric casting at 5th level and Weapon Specialisation. Not so good at smiting, but isn't there an extra smite feat in Complete Divine.

Looks like a good build Olive. I'd say the real decision would be between an extra smite per day and the extra feat.
