Forked Thread: A Paladin's Challenge

Forked from: A Paladin's Challenge

What if, I make a readied action to Divine Challenge a monster. And after my ready goes off, I am not adjacent to it, and I obviously couldn't have attacked it.
Does my turn end at my ready? Or, what happens? I know this is different then a delay because a delay just means I jump in whenever.
If my turn ends at my readied action, do I auto lose DC? It is still the monsters turn however, even though I did an interrupt. Any thoughts?

A readied action is just an immediate reaction, like any other.
After you resolve your readied action, it moves your place in the initiative order.
So there's no problem, since it's not your turn .. you'll have to engage on your turn, though.
