Mizore looks around as she continues to send people to the evacuation zone, and begins to see that saving all the civilians is not going to happen. But still she presses on trying hard to make sure she gets as many people out of the city safely as she can. When the time comes she knows that her flight will save her from a fall to her death.

Elle slips from burning alleyway to burning alleyway, preying on any metalic dragons that happen to swoop too close to her. Even if her life as an assassin had not left her cold, any guilt of slaying the supposedly 'good' dragons would have slipped away in an instant at the sight of how they were fighting this day. It was time for her to leave the alleyways and fight all out. She was not planning on leaving until the day was won for the side of evil. One more step towards cornering the one she hunted.

Elle and Killikak continue fighting dragons, neither having to look hard at all to find the next battle. They both notice however that the longer the battle goes on, the less the larger dragons come down, only the younger ones swooping at the city while the older dragons concentrate near the Deities, the battle above intensifying. If not for the odd stray blast, and the damage already done, the city may have survived.

In case I hadn't made it clear enough with the 'too many to count', there are several Hundreds of dragons on each side, The only way Elle is going to have a real effect that could alter the tide of battle between the two sides is by going after one of the Dieties themselves, or finding a way to down a few dozen of the largest 'generals(Advanded Great wyrms). Especially since most of the other town 'defenders' have been mostly attacking the Chromatic dragons, more than cancelling out any advantage Elle may have been providing by hunting Metallics.
Does she plan on attempting this, and how does she plan on escaping?

Still need to hear from Shayuri and Flesh on how long they're going to wait before exiting, whether they have any noteable goals beforehand, and how they plan to leave.

Elle regards the giant battle carefully as she carelessly cuts her way through a batch of young metallic dragons. She knows she wishes to avoid the epicenter of the engagement, but her contributions only seem to be balancing the damage done to th echromatics by the other adventurers. More drastic action was called for. Slipping quitely deeper into the battle, she kept her eyes peeled for more targets of opportunity. Hopefully, something big would come her way.

[sblock=OOC]
Elle isn't suicidal, she knows she won't be able to stand up to any of the two dieties by her lonesome, and from the look of the others actions she knows she isn't gonna have help against the good dragons so she plans to keep at least a little difference between herself and the gods. As for the generals, if one of them happens to get a little too far away from the core of the fight, she will happily engage it.

By this point she is flying up into the battle anyways, just avoiding the godly center of the mess.

As for escape routes, she has her ring of vanishing, which grants not only greater invis, but blocks natural senses. It lasts for 2 rounds a charge, and has 3 charges, so it should give her a little over half a minute to get out of the swarm and down to ground level where she can hide and slip away. [/sblock]

Aussir flits around the city "helping" evacuate the people. his help at this point consists of hauling around the bigest wagon he could find and starting a bus service. Until he gets bored of that or too many dragons block the paths, which ever comes first. At that point he then starts offensively helping by keeping the paths clear of dragons and falling buildings. He's not worried about himself too much as fe flies about.

Setis leaves Mizore in charge of the portal as she remembers something the previous Archdruid had left in the city, a seed said to be from the First Tree. She did not know if it held any actual power, but it was a significant druidic relic, and the only known proof of the existence of the tree. It had been gifted to the city when it was first built, as a token of good will and luck.
Within moments, Setis was able to find the seed in the already evacuated City Hall. As she turned to leave, she also noted a book that had been gifted by one of the arch-magi who helped bestow the initial magic that made the flying city possible. Better with her than burnt..

She returned to the portal to see no more people around as the final section of the clouds began to break up - They had evacuated any they could in the time available, any who were still left hiding in buildings or alleys were too far to help now... Scooping up her portal, she leaps into the air as the ground gives way.

By the time the city finally falls, Kilikak, Elle, Mizore, Setis, and Aussir are the only non-dragons (Or non-ALIGNED dragons, taking Aussir into account) remaining in the sky, surrounded on all sides by Dragons. They watch, unable to do any more, as the last section of the once-great city in the clouds falls the miles to the earth, a great cloud of dust rising from its impact.

They have little time to reminisce, however, as when any dragons get near to any of them, they swoop in to attack unless the Legend is already fighting an opposing dragon, in which case the dragon swoops in to assist, the Legend becoming the center of a large mass of flying, fighting, dieing dragons. The group quickly comes to be in proximity to each other, watching each others backs as Dragons swoop and dive around them.

The fighting seem like it will not stop until one side is completely destroyed, and glancing down, the legends see the land miles below littered by fallen dragons.

It is then that a darkness spreads, as though night had suddenly fallen, and Tiamat's three conscious heads cackle in unison, "It looks like Our reinforcements have arrived, you old Lizard! Care to test yourself NOW?"
The battered Platinum dragon swoops around, bellowing in anger and ordering his forces to fall back as several dozen great black-scaled humanoid figures with leathery wings begin descending from the clouds.

It would seem this battle is over, and unless you wish to Stand your ground or Join a Side, it is time to retreat!

For ease of storytelling I had Setis close the portal and fly, staying with the others. Despite the fact that it makes little sense for her, it's the simplest way I could come up with to not have the party split with no way of re-grouping.
Shayuri - I'll allow you to pick whatever form she flies as (Anything that appears obviously Good or Evil would, of course, be ill-advised).

(OOC - That's fine, Jemal, we can just say she was mad enough at the senseless destruction that she wanted to kick some tail. :))

Setis, in the form of a rare and mighty Force Dragon, had been fighting fire with fire, so to speak...but now she roared in anger.

"Bahamut is retreating," she snarls. "We cannot fight two cooperating gods and their armies at once. We must depart!"

She abruptly contracted back to her human form and produced the Cubic Gate. Quickly she pressed one of its alabaster sides twice in rapid succession...causing a portal to explode open with the roar of inrushing air!

(The plan is to portal us to somewhere relatively safe, like the Astral, kill any dragons that got sucked through with us, then rejoin the refugees in the Ethereal so we can lead them somewhere safe. Anyone who doesn't want to go through the portal can roll a save vs a pretty low number they're virtually guaranteed to succeed against...though you'll be on your own against Tiamat, Lloth and an army of dragons and Infernals. Good luck! :))

Elle was impressed. The laws of survival of the fittest had been applied, and soon, she found she was no longer fighting by herself but alongside others who were not only willing to challenge the gods, but capable of backing it up as well. Despite her earlier doubts, she wanted to see where this anti-god crusade was heading, in hopes that the path to her target would make itself clear.

Entering the portal with the others, she felt glad that she had a new option other than killing metallic dragons. Its not that she felt bad or anything, just that it was a real long shot at eventually getting her to her goal. This was more of a get rich or die trying scheme so to speak, and that suited her just fine. If all goes well, the outer planes will be littered with the corpses of the slain divine. That, or she'll be dead, and not have to worry about it anymore.

[sblock=OoC] Since Aussir's fighting style is climbing on his enemies Aussir goes where his target does. Untill we start rolling, Aussir's position and his fate is mostly up to Jemal. He'll follow the group in the most logical crazy way possible.[/sblock]

Aussir looks around the fight, taking in each of the non-dragon combatants, he nods and mumbles to himself. "Yes Aussir found good group this time. Maybe Aussir will get good marks this time... Better then last time any way... Aussir hope Aussir not die again... Aussir not liked that but least Aussir baby prismatic dragon now."

Mizore was relieved. Despite her doubts that Aussir and Elle were gonna try and take on the gods themselves, even they saw reason is a tactical retreat. What better way to live today to be able to kill tomorrow? She leaps into the portal to join with the rest of the legends, hopefully to move the people to safety and to plan our next moves carefully. The people who could not escape the fall or the dragons whims will be avenged.....eventually.
