Now, if only Ms. Gellar and Mr. Snipes didn't take themselves too seriously, they could have some deep serious comedy going on here....
You're really asking this question? Around here we all love D&D, but people still care which particular edition you like.Crothian said:Why do fan bases need to hate other fan bases? Do people really care what other like?

I'm no Twilight fan but this one of the dumbest things I've seen on the internet. Why do fan bases need to hate other fan bases? Do people really care what other like?
I don't care what a 30-year-old reads. As an adult, like what you like.
I do care a bit what is popularized among 14 year olds. Not so much that I'd call for a banning of a book, but I also have nothing against recognized folks standing up and pointing out the flaws.
Right, but this isn't about what version of Star Trek is better. This is about sci fi fans hating romance fans. It's two different genres and two really different fan bases. It's like having the Harry Potter fans hate the Samuel Spade.
Also, it's one thing for the fans to do it its another for someone in the art to do so. Monte Cook isn't leading a charge of D&D gamers against the GURPs players.
