Greater Magic Weapon Question??

Say a 15th level cleric cast Greater Magic Weapon. That would give a +5 bonus to the weapon. Now if the cleric has a +2 Holy Mace of Frost (which is a +5 equalivant) and cast Greater Magic Weapon on the mace would it become a +5 Holy Mace of Frost? Or because the weapon with it's abilities is equalivant to a +5 weapon would the spell have no effect?

Yup, the GMW only cares about the enhancement bonus, the rest it doesn't care about. So if your 15th level caster put GMW on a +1 lawful holy flaming shocking frost keen longsword, it would become a +5 lawful holy flaming shocking frost keen longsword.
