Heart of Artifice Temporary--Kharas Alone

[Velmont]

"Thank you very much. I'll be pleased to meet the senechal." replies Kharas, a bit worried to lose his access to the only way he knows to reach back his point of arrival and also, his only escape route in case all those good hearted people would turn against him... after all, he disable one of Maximus' construct.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*The guard heads inside and brings back a servant girl, who escorts Kharas to see the seneschal. As Kharas moves through the halls, he sees beautiful paintings and tapestries, as well as an emblem that also seems to be on the servants' livery as well as the armour of the guards inside the castle--it looks somewhat like a Lesser Cannith Dragonmark. The seneschal proves to be a bespectacled construct man with a quill and a large stack of papers. The construct man adjusts his spectacles and motions for Kharas to come forward:*

"Hmm...you seem an interesting fellow. I hear you would like to schedule an appointment with the Baron?"

 

[Velmont]

"Yes, I would like to speak with the Baron. The sooner would be the best, but a man in his position must have a lot of thing to do too." tells Kharas. "Can I ask you a question? What is that mark?" asks Kharas.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Yes. Quite. I may be able to schedule you in for tomorrow at tea time. Does that work for you?" the seneschal asks.

"Surely you must recognise this symbol? Hmm...you truly are from far away then. It is the symbol of Spiras and the ir'Spiras family."

 

[Velmont]

"The time seems fine with me." tells Kharas. As the senechal tells him about teh symbol, Kharas is please with the answer. "Yes, I'm from far. I don't remember anyone of my kind talking about this place, and as you don,t seems to know any dwarves, most likely I'm the first to come here."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"That seems quite. Possible. Yes, yes. Let's see. Tea time tomorrow it is then. And please do not be late. Thank you, a servant will see you out now."

 

[Velmont]

"Thank you" Kharas will go back outside and then will go back to town... on foot it seems.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Considering that the castle is located at the centre of the town, getting back to town on foot is not really a hardship at all--if anything, he must have looked ridiculous to that little girl when he left her, went back into the drakeflyer, flew barely any distance at all, and then landed again.*

*As such, as soon as he leaves the castle, he is once more back in the city.*

Kharas walks into the city, trying to find some place to rest for the night. He wonders if any of these warforged, if they are one, need to sleep and eat.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Kharas looks around for somewhere to stay, moving through the hustle and bustle of the construct-people in their city. As he is looking around, he sees a construct woman waving at him. She calls out:*

"Come from the castle? Greetings traveler! You're a strange one, aren't you? Do you have a place to stay and rest your weary eyes while you're here in Mousai? My inn has served all the finest travelers to Spiras--from Fantasia, Esperal, Brillia, and even Heart of Artifice!"
