Y'know, now that you mention it, there are no size penalties for staves or rods... if you were really enterprising, you could make yourself a set of Fine staves/rods, hang 'em from an earring, and have 'em all available at any given moment...

And so it was that one of the greatest munchkin moves of all time was innocently invented on an OotS thread at ENWorld. Future DMs would look back on this day and gnash their teeth until the oversight was finally corrected in 5E.

I cant wait to see Belkar's new opposite, because Im assuming the gnome is Durkon's.

I loved this strip, Durkon is my favourite character of the Order, so this just rocked my socks off. I was wrong on my evil-opposite for Durkon though, I was thinking a Giant of some kind what with him being a dwarf and all. Ohh well, better luck with my next guess I hope.
