I find this rather a common yet elitist attitude among veteran roleplayers. But I disagree with it.

Obviously you're just a bit dim.

(This obviously can't be an insult, because I prefaced it with "just a bit", meaning you're only slightly dim, not all dim. Now if I'd said that you were all dim, that would be an insult, and there would be only one thing to do: namely, go through your clothes and look for loose change. Luckily, I didn't say that. The soul of discretion is me.)
