Now whenever I get depressed about my gaming group, I can go to this thread and think 'At least I don't have to deal with the SOB's that Viking Bastard had to deal with'. It makes me feel a lot better.

Group One gave me flashbacks to Dork Tower.
"No, it's not very well lit in here at all, no sir. It's really shadowy."
"Matt, I think you're not clear on the concept of 'Dark' here."

I'm nineteen and I've been gaming since I was eight. That makes about (a little less I think) eleven years of gaming.

Ha ha! That was funny! Because I can't do arithmetic! I think it is actually eleven, though. Can anyone confirm that?

But seriously! I also think you should have stayed with the newbie group. Quote enough rules off the top of your head and you'd end up DMing anyway.

You forgot the story about the DM who couldn't understand AoO and dropped it from "his game." Man, that's a funny one.

Hey, you're all right.

Well, I didn't start at my eight birthday y'know. I was pretty close to becoming nine, so I only gamed for ten years and a couple of months. THAT'S what I meant.
