I think there's a noticable difference between "you deserve to be mocked" and "you will be mocked (whether you deserve it or not.)"

Yes. And "I learned in 9th grade how to blend in with the norms and not stand out. People who haven't learned that as adults more or less deserve what they get." is a straight up example of the former.

He's the X-Men Evolution version of Nick Fury, former Howling Commando and Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. .

How Stepford wife of you.

"If you don't look like everybody else, you deserve mockery" is not an admirable philosophy.
No, "If you don't dress like everyone else, you will get mockery." I just chose, at the beginning of high school, to be on the side of the tormentors, rather than the tormented. Much more fun that way.

I don't make the world what it is. I just try to play by the rules so the norms don't go after *me*. :)

Not dressing as the norm is one thing, dressing in a manner that invites mockery is another.

Nah, but it could be a witch. Anyone get turned into a newt?

Had to raise another pet peeve among gamers.

As for anthromorphs, I'm especially fond of Stan Sakai's work (ooo. Usagi done like Jack / Clone Wars) as well as Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's (hold the 'cowabunga'). I had considered anthro-ing the animals from the Chinese zodiac to use as villains (the Greek one is almost overused) but also considered making them as possible races for an Oriental campaign (Jadeclaw beat me to it) instead of the current 'OA races that are really PHB races with filled off serial numbers'.

Just like many, many years ago, Pornography was people having sex, not pictures of naked women in Playboy. They hijacked the word.

Nope. Pornography has never been the act itself, but depictions of it. Otherwise you wouldn't have "graphy" inside. Etymologically, it's "prostitute writing" or "writings about prostitutes"...
