The giant is unmocked, surprisingly.

The creature awakens and stands. "Your blood for the Empire!"

He starts swinging, much like the previous giant. The giant misses his first attack, but splatters another guard with the second.

Parties turn.

 

[GreenKarl]

Uric shouts at the giant (in Giant) "Hey you stupid git, over here! Was your mother a goblin by chance? Were you the runt of the litter!!!" and then stabs at the creatures legs.

OOC: Yes Uric is foolishly trying to to save guards by making the monster attack him. His double swing with the swords. First [roll0] if it hits [roll1], Second [roll2] if it hits [roll3]

OOC: Oh as a Champion I crit on a 19-20 (almost got it with the second one also!!), so extra damage from attack #1 [roll0]

The giant is deeply wounded, almost falling to one knee after that attack, but it still has not been dropped.

Gul looked over at Uric and rolled his eyes, "I meant by talking to him! Everyone hold fire for a second!"

Then, in giant, he addressed the injured monster, "Stop fighting and we will let you live, if you tell us why you came here!"

OOC: Note: Gul will cast Shield with a warlock slot as a reaction if he is hit by an attack (+5 to AC) No eldritch blast (not likely to do much damage anyway)! Let me know if you want a Persuasion check (for either side..)

Anger flashes in Uric's eyes as he glances at Gul quickly before turning back to face the giant. He grinds his teeth but takes a step back to indicate that he is not going to strike unless the giant takes aggressive action. Parlay with this lumbering beast that has already killed so many? Madness...he thinks.
