Ilshana moved up a bit and cupped her hands around her mouth. She wasn't much for fighting, but talking she could do!

She didn't think the giant sounded like it was going to give up, but maybe she could tease a little information about what they'd been up to and what this 'empire' was?

"Everyone STOP for a second! What artifact?!" she called up to the giant. "We can't exactly surrender it if we don't know what you're after! What's it look like?!"

Hopefully people would slow down and let her try to do this...

The giant seems to be having none of your parlay.

Uric's taunt seems appropriate. The giant attacks him twice and surprisingly misses both of them.

Parties turn.

"Fine, fine, we'll do this the hard way then", Gul harrumphed to himself, as he took aim once more against the giant and blasted it with more beams of eldritch power..

~ Koldan had let the peacemakers have their chance, but the second the gargantuan monstrosity swung again, the hunter leveled his weapon back up. However, something about all this caused him to hesitate: A Duke, a 'Vonindod', words he didn't understand.

Before him was the symbol of all he hated: the fire that consumed his family, the fire that had humiliated and damaged him time and again in trying to seek his vengeance. A cold revenge he had been denied over and over sat right in front of him, and all he had to do was pull the trigger to end another of these insufferable creature's lives.

But all around, he smelled the smoke. He felt the heat and heard the cries. These giants had come to Triboar, burned these buildings, maimed and killed, for whatever this 'Vonindod' was. For this Duke.

They needed to know more. The patient Hunter got the Big Game.

He sighed and lowered the crossbow, aiming for areas he knew would hurt ... but insufferably, the Giant would live if they connected. ~
