D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Storm King's Thunder: Triboar

OOC: Not sure if [MENTION=4936]Shayuri[/MENTION] wants to give it a try? Or maybe a second swipe at it, Yavathol? Otherwise I'm pretty much giving a coupe de grace if we can't get anything out of this big guy.

OOC: I'm now out of spells, not sure about Ilshana, but as far as I'm concerned, go ahead

Ilshana goes over to the giant and finds a spot where she can see his eyes. Her voice sounds sympathetic as she speaks.

"This doesn't have to end badly for you," she says. Her eyes fluoresce eerily, shining bright lurid green as her voice takes on a strange resonance that sends her voice to the hindbrain, compelling obedience. "Just answer our questions."

(Last 2nd level spell slot on Suggestion. DC 15 Wis save. Can't hurt to give it a shot.)

"What questions?"

 

[Shayuri]

"What's the Vonindod?" Ilshana asks bluntly, too eager to find out to be oblique. "Why's the Duke want it?"

 

[Jago]

~ Slowly, Koldan lowered his blade and backed away from the Giant, unwilling to have his aggressive stance somehow break whatever control the Half-Elf had over the creature. With wide ears he listened to whatever answer it had to give, just as curious as he assumed everyone present was. ~

 

[Creamsteak]

"A weapon."

"Power."

 

[Jago]

~ " A Weapon?" Koldan repeated, looking over at the large, iron ring. How could that possibly have been a weapon? Was it magical in some way, part of something larger?

" Is the ring you dug up the Vonindod? What does this Weapon do?" ~

 

[Shayuri]

"Yeah!" Ilshana agreed, "And what does the Duke want to DO with this power?"
