OOC: In that case, I'm in favor of just letting the giant go. We can't beat her and her current entourage; we won't be able to beat them + drow.

The town of Rivermoot is protected by a palisade on it's eastern side. All of the buildings in this town are raised at least ten feet in case of flooding, and various rafts and boats seem to be tethered about.

The locals seem a bit unkempt, but they report no interactions with giants, trolls, or much else for that matter.

"We keep it quiet around here." one particular gentleman warns.

OOC: Up to you to make more or less out of this. You could just continue on to the next major area.

Perched atop a crag overlooking the Rauvin Road, with a clear view of the Evermoors to the south and the Moonwood to the north, is a keep of mortared stone with a high-pitched roof that has wooden statues of baying wolves rising from its peaks. A branch in the road winds up to the keep's gatehouse and bailey. From the keep, the Zymorven family of Silverymoon has watched over the surrounding lands for four generations.

Zymorven Hall appears to have no guards to defend it. Darkness seems to be creeping up on you along the road, and there seems to be no signs of activity. Do you want to ride on, camp outside, or knock?

"Good luck to ya," says Bellalalalalinda to the man in Rivermoot.

She continues to ride Whistler on the way to Zymorven Hall, wrapping a shawl around herself when the shadows grow long.

"Shall we watch it for an hour and see what we see?" asks Bellalalalinda. "If we see no change, I say we approach. Catch 'em in their undies."

(short rest and proceed?)

Willow looks curiously at Bell. "Wait out here...and watch? Have you heard something bad about these people?"

OOC: Willow would be inclined to trust people and just knock, but I'm fine with a short rest, if anyone needs one. She doesn't.

"The town's folk didn't warn us of any danger at the Hall, and it's getting dark; let's just approach openly and knock," Gul gave his opinion, casting a careful look at the place.

OOC:
This is a civilised, inhabited place like the town, right? Is there any sign that the buildings are derelict or abandoned?
