"Come back!" cries the small gnome at the escaping witch, and she again fires a quarrel at the Skyweaver, flying above the building (KB 208).

OOC: Maintain concentration on Hunter's Mark.
Attack: using sharpshooter, [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1], plus [roll2] for Hunter's Mark.
Move: to JE 225.

Whistler punches the enemy in front of him, and then bolts towards the orb.

OOC: Reaction: coordinated attack on creature at JI 216. [roll3]. If a hit, damage = [roll4].
Move to JD215 (risking an opportunity attack if JI 216 sill stands).
Action: Look at the orb. Grab it if it hasn't been thrown. Try not to break it.
Hit points: 30/45.

And again, Bell will hope for luck on the attack roll. [roll0]

EDIT: If that's a hit, she's had 48 points damage. She's roughly 160' away from Bell, and so should still be in crossbow range for another round or two?

Dodging another swipe from the Bugbear, Koldan growled at being tied up with this oversized Goblin rather than dropping the Giantess before she could do more damage. Once again, the crossbow's string was locked into place and snapped with force, but there was no time to continue dealing with this: the party was screaming about that strange orb while they were all shrouded in darkness, and there were still enemies.

Risking exposing himself if the Bugbear had not went down, Koldan turned away and took off closer to his companions, watching another Bugbear outside of the darkness fighting with the Gnome's companion. Rather than risk it interfering any further, the Hunter narrowed his sight onto the monster and brought the stock of his crossbow to his shoulder. One shot would certainly drop it for good.

Fire Giants attacked Triboar looking for a "Vonindod", which they called a weapon that was in many parts. Fire Giant Duke Zalto of Ironslag wants this to "win".

Darathra was a Harper: she gave me a Platinum Badge of Triboar to present to Dorkath The Orkath to let him know of the attack.

There is a Kobold in the area of Yartar named "Lightwalker", a craftsman with 'some incredible weapons'.

There is a 5,000 GP Bounty on "The Weevil", a Dwarven Brigand last seen at Xantharl's Keep as a stable cleaner. The reward is for delivering him alive to authorities in Mirabar.

Ghelryn Foehammer has given us a letter of recommendation to King Morinn and Queen Tithmel of Citadel Fellbar. Ghelryn will also give us a 10% discount on customized weapons and armor in Triboar.

Harshnag is a Frost Giant of FORCE GREY should be told about the Giants. Apparently his company was 'mostly murdered' after an encounter with a Dragon and a Traitor.

The Kraken Society is a criminal organization that worships 'some tentacled horror of the deep', and was been gathering artifacts related to the Ancient Giant Civilization that was destroyed in a war with Dragons. They are planning something big in the name of 'The Sunken City'.[/sblock][/sblock]

Gul isn't quite sure what he's looking at, but it's definitely spinning, and faster every second. His investigation yields little more than what's obvious, whatever's happening to the orb it's happening fast.

Uric fights well in the darkness, his enemies equally blinded. He kills a bugbear.

Davaros kills the bugbear on his second attack. He can still move and make his bonus attack I imagine. He kills an initiate.

Bell's luck catches up and takes the fight out of the flying witch, she crashes into the ground below.

Whistler grabs the bowling ball sized object of air. It's roughly ten pounds.

Koldan ends the remaining bugbear and initiate.

The giantess moves even further away.

The orb pulses three times.

Gul lets the darkness go, the sudden brightness of daylight causing everyone to wince, "Whistler or Uric, I care not who, for the love of Mystra, get that thing away from us!"

Whistler does not need to be told twice. Though the great ape does not understand fully what is going on, or why his mistress's friends don't want the shiny ball with lights, he quietly obeys, hoping that he's made a decision that will make the others pleased. With all his strength, he throws the orb as far as he can, away from the village and Bellalalalalinda (i.e. Northeast on the last map). He then uses his movement to move back towards the gnome, keeping himself between her and the orb.

Meanwhile, she, seeing her quarry fall, rushes towards the village. She sees the large figure of the giant standing over some buildings, and, depute everything else that's happening, raises her crossbow and lets fly a shaft.

OOC: Whistler: (just going for distance -- not targeting a specific area. Athletics? [roll0].)

Bell: Move: to IZ 225.
Bonus action: see OOC thread.
Attack: (with sharpshooter) [roll1]. If a hit, damage = [roll2].
(as in OOC thread, I am not sure Hunter's Mark can be transferred, but if it can, please add [roll3] damage, if a hit.

EDIT: ugh, those rolls.

With the enemies that he could see downed, Koldan took off after the village: It was still in danger, and that Giantess was the primary threat as far as he was concerned. Following Bella's fire were 2 shots of his own, trying desperately to bring the massive woman down before she could do any more harm.
[sblock=Round Actions]Move: It is exceedingly difficult for me to see the map for some reason: Moving to just get as far into the town as possible, heading towards the Giantess.

Still concentrating on Hunter's Mark, though I have no target at this time (Giantess is beyond 90 Feet)

Action: Attack, with Extra Attack vs. Giantess. Sharpshooter removes Range Disadvantage. Damage adds Favored Enemy
1st Attack: 1d20+9 19
1st Damage: 1d10+8 9

2nd Attack: 1d20+9 15
2nd Damage: 1d10+8 11[/sblock]
