Poor 19th is the only level with no votes right now.

I said 18th, but I think that's because I really want to play a fighter with Weapon Supremacy.

Lots of folks are saying 9th, because they think 5th level spells are a good plateau and because the primary casters haven't started to pull way ahead of the fighter-types yet.

But 10th level adds a bit of extra competence without adding any complexity, making it a better choice in my mind.

No, really 6th is a good level for me:

- 3rd level spells for all full spellcasters
- 1st level spells for "part-time" spellcasters
- 2 attacks for those with full BAB only
- at least 3 feats for anyone
- enough HP not to bee too nervous about ambushes
- a few magic items only
- you can encounter lots of great monsters already
- you can start using templates and class levels on several monsters
- it's not yet remotely too complicated to DM

Sitxh level. It allows for characters to have many of the staple powers and spells, makes them hardy enough to survive intense combat, usualy allows them to take a level or two in a PRC, yet by that level they are still normal heroes - not superheroes and definitely ot gods. They are still killable (and don't have Raise Dead yet by themselves - though they probably have enought money and/or resources to arrange for an NPC to cast it); they don't have too many spells a day (though they have enought to make the game interesting); and the game mechanics are not overloaded yet by too much modifiers and options.
