Dad had a very bad stroke. If my step-mother wasn't a retired nurse who knew what she was seeing when he started showing signs, I'm told we'd probably have been burying him. Instead, he's got some therapy to do, but he's recovered an amazing amount back of left-side use. So, very good news there.

I'm back from my visit, encouraged but tired. Will be trying to catch up here over the next day or so. I have to catch up back at work, so may be the other side of the weekend before I"m back at full speed.
