Implement: Can Swordmage's blade count as an implement when using a warlock power gained through multiclassing feats?

If you have any rules page references, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Warlock mulitclassing allows you to use rods or wands as implements for warlock powers.

Light blades and heavy blades are not rods, nor are they wands.

Therefore swordmage implements cannot be used as warlock implements.

HOWEVER:

If you use a pact blade, or a pact sword, you'll have a blade with the -property- permitting its use as a warlock implement.

No. The swordmage's implement entry states that the class can use light and heavy blades as implements for "swordmage powers with the implement keyword."

You could, however, grab a pact blade, which by its nature can be used as an implement for both classes.

EDIT: Curses, beaten! >_<
