Bloodtalon steps forward towards the sling shooter, but his swing is not nearly as deadly (as it flies over the goblin's head)

The two goblins still standing rally after the combat briefly turned against them. Sedar and his goblin make quick pumping thrusts with their blades, trying to cause one another to drop their guard. The goblin swings his other fist as if making an attack, distracting you for a precious second while his blade strikes deep into your leg.
Bloodtalon closes swiftly on the goblin wielding the sling, but in his opponent dodges back from the attack. The goblin drops its sling and quickly draws what looks like a chewed up table leg. Despite the appearence, it makes a solid club which the goblin demonstrates by cracking the Kenku's outstretched arm.
Johanel moves out of reach of the attack goblins, readying himself to aid whoever needs it the most.

Why is Johanel moving away?! Sedar thinks as he sees his flank unraveling, and in the confusion misses again, though he still takes the last step that would have put him into a flanking position.

Not having much luck with his next attack, Bloodtalon silently curses his sloppy swordsmanship.

Pressing their attack, the goblins attack furiously. Sedar receives another bloody wound in his arm as he dodges too slowly to avoid the attack. Bloodtalon is a bit lighter on his feet and dodges a clumsy swing from his goblin. Seeing Sedar wounded in several places, Johanel utters the words of a spell and points at the goblin. Bolts of glowing force magic slam into the goblin cracking bones and crushing flesh. The goblin collapses to the ground in a shuddering heap.

Bloodtalon's attack is a little more on target this time as he hopes it slips past the goblin's defences.

Sedar nods thankfully to Johanel, then moves next to him and throws his dagger at the remaining goblin.

Bloodtalons thrust cuts the goblin badly drawing a spray of dark blood. The goblin sways on its feet for a second before Sedar's thrown dagger buries itself in its breast. The goblin sways for a moment, then topples over. The alley is once again quiet. While looking around you to make sure no more goblins lie in the shadows, you spot a small hole in the wall behind a pile of trash where the goblin child disappeared.

"Damn, that smarts." Sedar grimaces over his wounds as he retrieves his dagger. "Not that it means that much, but at least this part of Sharn has a few predators less."

"That didn't feel too good. I guess trusting goblins down here is just like goblins in the Gate. I had hoped to find them less desperate elsewhere in the city. In any case, I do not think that we will find any House of Healing down here. Do we need to retreat and try again later today? or should we press on, not that we know where we are going." says Bloodtalon.
