If I attack with a 2[w] power, do the armbands apply once or twice?

Do iron armbands of power give +4 or +2 on a 2[w] attack?

Once. Someone with the books at hand will be able to cite a page, but the only thing in 2[W] that gets multiplied is the die/dice of the weapon itself (1d8 longsword, 2d6 maul ...)

The item adds +2 to damage rolls. With a power that deals x[W] damage, you roll the damage once. One roll, one add.
