Armor and weapons animate with incredible speed (easily win init) and come crashing towards you.

Only Buckthorn has a chance to make an attack first...(let see if he does).

Buckthorn shoots some arrows into the swarm, but they seem to have limited effect (1 hit, base dmg 22).
The swarms of blade and armor surge towards you! Sim evades them, but Forge is hacked almost to pieces (46 dmg, prone…unless he can avoid that).

You can all go.

As an IR, Sim will use Dimensional Vortex (39 vs. will). On a hit he moves the swarm back and negates the attack on Forge (ordering to attack the bones around it just in case more things are starting to form). (Assuming 39 is a hit) On Sim’s turn, he uses the daily power of his Boots of Fencing to shift 2 squares up (+1 AC and Ref). Sim marks it and then SwordBursts the swarm (39 vs. Ref, 31 damage on a hit and he will push it back 1 more square).

If you insist on an IR, I can let Forge take the damage.

You drive back the swarm. Your bladey burst seems more effective then the rangers arrow in damaging the metal swarm.

Buckthorn

First Post
Buckthorn will shoot at the swarm again, this time with Thundertusk Boar Strike, in an attempt to push the swarm back further, 1st roll is a 46 (critical hit). The second roll for the second arrow is a 29 to hit.

Damage for the 1st arrow is 27+24 (Hunters Quarry)+22 (short bow) = 73 damage and the swarm is pushed back 1 square.

Damage for the second arrow is 19 (if a 29 hits)and the swarm would be pushed back a second square.
