ooc: sorry voda vosa, I missed your post because it was above my round summary post.
Ximix: after Lander's healing, Jallembo was at 3hp and consious. You could feed him a potion.
With that, Jallembo is at Full hp again.
Ant 1&2: dead
Ant 3: 10 damage
Ant 4:
Ant 5: 6 damage

Round 2:
Jamilee steps up the the remaining ant (of the first two). She whips around her rapier in a spectacular fashion piecring the ant's defenses left and right. The finishes her spectacular attack by sinking her shortsword in the ant's neck, killing it.
A number of ranged weapons fire a volley of arrows and bolts at the Queen and her cohorts.
Nura fires at one of the four ants and hits!
Saithnar misses the same ant by a hair.
Quintaine also misses when he fres an arrow at one of the four ants.
Possum launches a sling bullet and hts the same ant that Nura just wounded, dealing 1 point of damage,
Dorrin, Munchin, Krindorf and Jallembo form a front line, ready to strike at any of the ants that come near.
Meanwhile, Ximix and Landers stand behind that line, ready to heal anybody who might fall.
Then the ants come...
The four ants move forward as if with a single mind and engage the line just formed.
First, the readied attacks from the front line come down upon the vermin.
Dorrin plants his sword through the thick chitin, damaging the already wounded ant badly.
Munchin can´t find his balance and his kick flies wide.
Krindorf mananges to plant his blade through the chitin, leaves a big wound.
Jallembo hit´s the ant, but doesn´t pierce the thick chitin.
Then the ants retaliate.
The first one hits Dorrin. The ant grabs Dorrin with it´s mandibles and attempts to sting him. Dorrin barely manages to avoid the stinger while he is in the ant´s grasp. Dorrin takes 7 damage.
Munchin evades the attack form the second ant by a hair.
Krindorf parries the mandibles form the third and, preventing it to damage him.
The fourth ant can´t manage to hit Jallembo.
The Queen doesn´t engage... yet.

If no healing comes my way, here's my stabilization (looking for 1 or 2) Stabilization (1or2) (1d20=6)
If healing does come my way, here's the attempt to break grapple Grapple Check (1d20+2=10)
Using the Luck Domain's ability to reroll, here it is again... Grapple Check (try two) (1d20+2=14) :\
Maybe Grendath is looking for a new cleric...

Stepping to the injured man's side, Ximix intones in Elvish, "Fain-Amankarn fallanai" healing Dorrin, though not for very much.
OOC: Ximix casts Cure Light Wounds from Bless for 4 points of healing.

[sblock=ooc]Hi and sorry for my disappearance but was in the UK for Xmas with no access. Nevertheless I can see that Jallembo has been in the thick of it!! Thanks for the cover team. The friendly neighbourhood rogue is now at 7/10hp. His basic instincts will get him to step back from the frontline especially after seeing this mother of all ants in front of him. He shouts: "This might be the Queen! But something is wrong, they're not attacking!.. There may be a trap! Let's throw everything at them!"
With that he steps back and pulls a glass bottle from a wooden container. He spends the rest of his time attempting to lit it up.

Jamilee tries to poke the ant grappling with the poor cleric of Grendath full of holes. If he's close enough for her to let off a full attack, she's moderately successful, scoring a hit wit her off-hand shortsword: Full attack (1d20+3=10, 1d6+1=6, 1d20+3=22, 1d6=6), Off hand critical confirmation + damage (1d20+3=11, 1d6=3)
