Taking the hit from the Harpy Crue looks around and gets his bearings. He retrieves his wand of shield and casts shield on himself. His wound is bad but the bigger more urgent threat is the harpies. He will have to wait to tend the wound, it is more urgent to prevent any more injuries to hi8mself and his friends.

Wahyu whispered into the pommel of his dagger, "Now, this shall be your first test, let us see what you can do," before muttering another prayer. The kris's shadow dislodged itself, and shot towards the harpy that had distracted them so. Taking advantage of the confusion of smoke and feathers, Wahyu called to the gnome, "Come, they have the advantage with us split; we should return to the others with haste!"
[sblock=OOC]Wahyu casts Spiritual Weapon on the one that enchanted them, while taking a move action to move 20' towards the others.

The lead harpy frowns as she sees the abundance of spells being thrown around by the party and screeches out the harpy still down on the beach. It seems to be a call to regroup because both the lead harpy and the second small harpy fly up to the same stash the heavily injured one was already at, and all three drink a potion retrieved from said stash watching the party below warily, their wounds closing slightly. The two smaller harpies seem to be watching the lead harpy closely as well to find out how to proceed.

Crue moves 20' closer to the group and begins a chant. It is a dark tale of blindness from a shining light that penetrates all darkness. Upon completion a glittering dust forms in the area the Harpies occupy.

As the party continues to harass the harpies, the harpies decide they have had enough, and disappear as they fly up and around to the other side of the rock. When it becomes clear that they are gone for good, the party can finally examine their next challenge. The rock towers a couple hundred feet out of the water; there are no visible openings, but there is the outcropping roughly 100 feet up. While a straight climb up the moss covered surface would be risky, there does seem to be a well worn, narrow path carved out of the rock that leads up to the outcropping. The dampness of the morning fog still clings to the rockface, adding an additional challenge to ponder as the party contemplates it's next move.

OOC: Happy Holidays. I will likely not be posting again until Sunday.

Narrow amber eyes spy the harpies as they make good their retreat. Continuing to watch ruefully, Tamarie pipes up, "I'm glad that's over, even if sadly, we just agreed to disagree with them." Qalabash scowled in the direction of the harpies then retrieved his wand from Tamarie. He looked up at the stone wall and narrow path that he suspected they would be scaling very soon. He sighed with a long exhalation of breath.

"I'm surprised they shook off the glittering spell you used so easily, Master Beestinger. Stay wary, my friends, they must be potent foes indeed and I would not be surprised if those creatures returned to drop rocks down upon our heads. Now, do you suppose that we will have to ascend yon perilous rock? Just the sort of luck I have come to expect."

Having taken a cue from Tamarie and Dunkel, Qalabash straps his quarterstaff to his pack and retrieves his crossbow and loads it. "We should advance cautiously, ready to fire upon any returning threats."
