M2: The Search for Goblin HQ

Tenebrynn comes out from behind the hut as the ogre falls. Then seeing bolts fly from out of the water he shouts out to everyone, "Move back from the water, they'll have to come up out of the water to get us."

"Well, my bolt have lower much, but I am fine for now. We should take cover from the sea creature, they still attack us." ON that, Rinaldo join action to his talk.

OCC: Sorry, lost a bit the thread of the story. Post back to normal next week-end, after I have seen Tumbuktu.

If he were not in the grip of rage, Tor would be surprised to still be concious while the Ogre lies defeated. Such pessimistic thoughts, however, do not reach him in his current state. Dropping his chain to his feat, he draws the bow and shoots an arrow at one of the evil fish men.

"I'm fine." Ashnar says. Deprived of immediate enemies, he prepares to move into the direction of the cave, taking cover behind the canoe.

Charlyn puts away his shield and morningstar. Nurlan reloads. Ashnar takes cover behind the canoe. Rinaldo moves back and takes cover behind the catapault. Tenebrynn takes a step to his left to get cover behind the square hut. Tor stands his ground, dropping his chain into the sand at his feet and pulling out his masterwork mighty bow. He neatly puts an arrow into one of the partially submerged sahaugin snipers. (4 pts)

in the water, the sahaugins archers reload their crossbows. The two peeking their heads out near the cave hold their ground in the water.

Somac can still act in round 9

Nurlan will fire at one of the aquatic archers (standard action), then back up and try to take partial cover behind the catapult (move action) if he can get their next to Rinaldo. In future rounds he will try to fire from behind the catapult.

OOC: Enjoy Timbuktu, Rinaldo! I've never been there -- visited central Mali last year, Bamako to the Dogon escarpment, but never north of Mopti.

Knowing she won't be able to do much against creatures she doesn't know, and if her spells would have any effect on them, Irene tries to find a way to the cave without becoming a moving target for either the fishmen or anything else still lingering around.

Charlarn draws and loads his light crossbow. He takes aim at the wounded fishman. "I hope there isn't a back exit to that cave. We can't let Jezibel esape again."

Somac, remembering the terrible trouble that befell Irene the last time she chased someone on her own, heaves a comical sigh of exasperation and falls in beside her to escort her to the cave. On the way there, he attempts to keep his body between her and any threatening creatures. He hopes that the sahuagin and the goblinoids will keep killing each other instead of focusing their full attention on himself and his friends.

"I'll propably be of greater utility if I help Irene. Besides, as I understand, she has a history to get into trouble." Ashnar says before rushing to Irene's side.
