Here's a link to a map I did last year for a campaign I was running. I was pretty pleased with it at the time but I've since done a better one (but haven't uploaded it to the internet yet).

We have to be the only Corel users around, nice to see someone else doing it. How did you do it?

I drew the coastlines in a fine tipped pen and scanned it in.

The rest was done by just masking off areas and then using fill with various textures. I was particularly pleased with the way the mountains came out, but on my last map I couldn't remember how I'd done it! I spent about three hours trying to work out what fill effect and what colours I'd used.

I'll see if I can upload my newest map at some point today.

Not bad. Your lakes and other bodies of water could use some extra definition along the edges, but I like the light, rather airy quality of your forest texture. It's hard to judge the mountains without a closer view, but they look pretty cool at this scale. Keep up the good work.
