Sympathy for the Devil
Feel free to call me stupid, but don't refer me to the FAQ. I'm in a strange situation where I can't get at anything ZIPed, or I wouldn't be asking this.

Someone let me know:

A creature has multiple attacks, say 4 tentacle rakes with one attack bonus, followed by a bite with a secondary attack bonus. Must the creature focus all 4 rakes on one target? Must it then bite the same target?

Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if those 4 rakes are separate attacks. A quoted reference from the D&D FAQ or rules is most welcome.

Thanks!

The 4 rakes are definitely separate attacks. There is no rule requiring the user of multiple attacks to target them against a single opponent.
